Calling for help - SOS

When carrying our duress alarms, help is just a button press away. Our Australian based Control Room staff will receive your request for help along with your current location. They will make contact through the device, verify the emergency, and contact the appropriate emergency services on your behalf. If requested, the nearest available private security patrol can also be dispatched to your location.

Fall Detection / Person Down

Picture
Our devices are equipped with fall detection technology. When carrying our devices, if a sudden fall is detected, followed by a period of inactivity, the device will sound an alert. If for any reason you are unable to acknowledge the alert, a person down alarm together with your current location is sent to our Control Room operators who will follow up and dispatch assistance.

AUTOMATED WELFARE CHECKS

Many organisations require their lone workers to check in at regular intervals by making a call or sending an SMS. Using our duress alarms, this process can be fully automated. When activated, the device will remind staff to ‘check-in’, at predefined intervals, by pressing the check-in button. If a check-in is missed, a failed to check-in alarm is raised. Each check-in is recorded with date, time and location allowing for detailed historical reporting.

Know where your staff are

Picture
Our devices periodically send location updates to our online reporting platform. These updates are typically configured for once every 10 minutes, however, can be configured as frequently as every minute or based on distance travelled. Using our online platform, you can easily view the current location of your colleagues. This is also very handy in industries where recording places visited or time spent on site is necessary.

Online Reporting Platform

Our online tracking and reporting platform provides current and historical access to all information collected by our devices.  Easily run reports to see places visited, time spent onsite, or a history of any alarms raised. Information is available for 12 months and can be exported to Excel for archival.

WiFi positioning

Both the XT90 and the X99 are very capable personal duress alarms. The key difference is the WiFi positioning support offered by the X99. With WiFi positioning, the X99 can determine its location whenever it is within range of your existing WiFi network, even when deep within buildings where a GPS signal is unavailable. Each WiFi access point emits a unique identifier known as a MAC address. By pre-loading the MAC addresses of each access point and its physical location into our tracking platform, we can locate the X99 using the MAC addresses that are within its range. This is very useful for locating employees on large sites that have pre-existing WiFi installations. For example, Schools, Universities, Hotels, Shopping Centres, Hospitals and Office towers.
